🧦 The Story of Stan, the Drunk Sock Monkey In 2013, my daughter gave me a sock monkey named Stan to keep me company when I travel — a sweet little gesture meant to make me feel safe on the road. What she didn’t realize was that Stan would become my drinking buddy and accidental travel mascot. Since then, Stan has joined me on countless adventures, and, naturally, a few pub visits .
