The Scene

Well, we found the ghost town. While other nearby spots had a few folks buzzing around, this one was whisper quiet. Once again, we found ourselves completely alone — except for the bartender who stepped outside for a smoke break.

Now, to be fair, we often explore during off-hours on purpose. But somehow, we must give off “trustworthy faces,” because this wasn’t the first time we’ve been left alone in a bar.

The Drinks

We had our draft — unfortunately, the worst of the day. Not much else to report. Maybe skip the tap and grab a bottle if you must.

Not sure how to describe it other than: “Okay, we’re here. You’re here. Let’s call it even.”

Ray’s Place might have its charm for the ultra-introverted or the “just one and done” crowd. But for the rest of us, it’s more ghost town than gathering spot.
