The Scene
In the middle of absolute nowhere, The Timber Tavern surprises with a beautifully remodeled space that feels inviting and ready for visitors. Whether you drop in for a drink or a meal, it’s a definite stop-worthy spot.
The Food
The menu changes frequently, keeping things fresh and interesting. The Cobb Salad is a winner, and the burgers are solid — though mine arrived a bit underdone. Overall, the food quality is strong and the menu has plenty of variety to please any appetite.
Hick Meter
4/5 — small-town charm with plenty of personality.
Attitude
4/5 — generally pleasant, though staff occasionally seems a bit overwhelmed. A little polish on tap beer pouring would go a long way.
Cleanliness
4/5 — clean and well-kept.
Bathroom Check
4/5 — tidy and functional.
Bonuses
None noted — but the food and atmosphere do most of the heavy lifting.
The Final Sip
The Timber Tavern hits the mark for a quality stop in the middle of nowhere. Good food, a comfortable setting, and friendly staff make it worth the detour — just maybe ask for your burger well done and keep an eye on the beer pour.
4 Beers — solid, satisfying, and worth the visit. 🍺🍺🍺🍺
